Morwet for SC, WP, and WDGDISPERSING & WETTING AGENT MORWET D - 425 The first and only formaldehyde condensate dispersant, developed in the 70’s & produced for dry formulations by Ft Worth. The benchmark dispersant. Success is due to wide application and performance. Suspensibility & stability excellent in high & low pH and hard & soft water. MORWET DISPERSING AGENT Morwet D-425: Gives excellent dispersant, hard water tolerant. Most widely used product in the line. A standard dispersant for any formulator for SC, WP & WDG. Morwet D-500: Gives the formulator ionic separation and steric hindrance to improve suspensibility. Morwet D-450: Promotes faster wetting, improve granulation breakdown and suspensibility. In some formulas D-450 is the only surfactant needed. MORWET DISPERSING AGENT Morwet D-110: Specially designed dispersant for high silica system WP and WDG. Inhibiting flocculation problem. Superior suspension stability for low-melting technical. Morwet D-141: With a pH at 2.0, this blend is useful for pH sensitive technical and is used as a compatibility agent for fertilizers. Morwet EFW: - Best or superior wetting, assist granulation break down in high concentration system. Morwet 3028: - Better wetting, assist granulation break down in high concentration system. Lighter color Morwet IP: - Good wetting, lowest foaming wetting agent in this class. Suspension Concentrate (SC) Suspension concentrate consist of insoluble active materials in concentrated suspension in water. It also known as “flowable” The A.I is dispersed in an aqueous solution of wetting and dispersing agent, followed by a wet grind process. Advantages of SC Formulation Absence of dust Easy to pour and measure Usually solvent-free( i.e. no flash point considerations) Better efficiency due to small particle size. Low packing volume Low cost formulation Typical recipe A.I 20-70% wetting / dispersing agents 4% anti-foam 0.05% antifreeze 6-10 antiseptics 0.1% thickener 0.1% Water balance others (if necessary) ANSC products for SC Wetting agents Morwet EFW, Morwet 3028, Morwet 3008 Dispersing agents Morwet D-425, Morwet D-500, Morwet D-450 Witconol NS-500LQ Sponto 4012 Wetable Powder (WP) WP is dry formulation for milled solid actives and for liquid actives absorbed on inert solid supports. The following properties are required for WP: easy wetting rapid and complete dispersibility good suspensibility good storage stability of the ai Water Dispersible Granule (WDG) This new type new formulation sometime called “dry flowable”. Granules are produced by agglomeration of a ground solid actives and binding / dispersing agent system. The shape, the size and the performance of granules vary according to the process of the production.
